Akinwande Stops McNeeley |
Henry Akinwande looked sharp Saturday night in front of a sell-out crowd at the Moon Sports Arena in Tallahassee, using his superior size and reach effectively to stop a game Peter McNeeley late in the second round and retain the WBC International heavyweight title. Akinwande, whose next fight is expected to take place in China this summer, saw his record improve to 40-1 while McNeeley's now stands at 47-6. Related articles: |
