McNEELEY SET FOR MAKE-A-WISH BENEFIT

BOXER PETER McNEELEY DOING ROADWORK BOSTON, MA — The Mayflower Foundation will stage a Kick-Off Gala to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Massachusetts at the Boston Children's Museum this Saturday night, August 9th.   The event will take place on the museum's outdoor pavilion overlooking Boston Harbor.   Boxing legend "Hurricane" Peter McNeeley will be on hand to sign autographs.

"This is a very worthy cause and I'm just happy to be part of it," McNeeley said. "The money raised will help a very deserving kid."

Proceeds from this year's event will benefit John B. from Roxbury who has been diagnosed with Sickle Cell Anemia.   John is an energetic eight-year old boy who loves to watch the Boston Red Sox — especially Manny Ramirez — and to play Nintendo. His wish is to go to Disney World with his family.

Tickets for the gala are still available and may be purchased directly from the Mayflower Foundation.   Complimentary beer, wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served.   Music will be provided by Me And This Kid.
